Website development for construction companies

Instagram and Facebook rarely carry serious B2B trust: investors want finished builds, not slogans. I’ll build a site with a portfolio by work type, fast galleries and a quote form that filters job type, region and budget — so you get calls with a real brief.

What belongs on a construction company website

Proof of work first, then process and enquiry. Each section has one job: show you really build — and capture a qualified contact.

  1. Firm in brief — what you build, for whom (B2B / private), where you work
  2. Portfolio by type — interiors, roofs, new builds, flat renovations
  3. Project detail — before/after or phases, short scope note
  4. How we work — from site visit to handover (short, practical)
  5. Quote form — job type, region, budget / timing, contact
  6. Coverage and contact — cities/regions, phone, email

Why a construction firm needs more than a logo and social posts

Portfolio sells harder than claims

A photo of a finished roof or renovated flat says more than “quality and deadlines”. Finished work is your proof for B2B and private clients.

A quote form that filters leads

Job type, region, rough budget — 4–5 fields are enough. Fewer “how much to build” calls, more briefs worth taking.

Findable by city and work type

If you’re only on social media, you miss people searching for a construction firm or flat renovation on Google. The site keeps you visible with clear regions.

What a portfolio site delivers for the firm

Trust before the first meeting

An investor browses the gallery and sees scope: new builds, roofs, interiors. They arrive prepared, with fewer wasted questions.

Better-qualified leads

Form fields (type, budget, region) save sales time. Fewer “just asking” phone calls.

Clear focus by work type

Portfolio split into interiors, roofs, shell builds — clients find “their” work and don’t confuse you with another trade.

A site that can carry heavy photos

Galleries are optimised so the page stays fast with dozens of project shots. Quality impression without slow loading.

How do you actually get found in search?

That’s part of what I do. SEO strategy is included even with the simplest landing page. We’ll shape the copy around real searches in your city and choose a clear, competitive way to present your offer.

Construction company website from €500 · usually 7–14 days

A clear site with portfolio and enquiry form from €500. Larger galleries, more categories or more pages — from €1,200. Quote after a short brief and photo list.

Questions construction firms ask before the site

How should we organise the portfolio — by work type?

Best by what clients search for: interiors / flat renovations, roofs, new builds / shells, maybe developer jobs. Each category gets 4–8 strong photos and a short scope note. Dumping everything into one slideshow is weaker — investors look for proof in a discipline, not a vague vibe.

We have lots of heavy images. Will that kill page speed?

Galleries can load progressively at the right size — not 8 MB camera originals. The page stays fast with dozens of projects. Image quality stays; wasted weight goes. That matters for Google and for a client on mobile on site.

Which quote-form fields actually qualify leads?

Beyond name and phone: job type (renovation, roof, new build…), location / region, rough budget or at least order of magnitude, and timing / urgency. It doesn’t need to be a long survey — 4–5 fields are enough to know whether to call now or later. Fewer empty “how much to build” messages.

We serve several cities. Is one site enough?

Yes — one site with regions listed clearly, and short city sections if needed (Bratislava, Prague, Vienna…). Don’t write “whole country” if you cover specific areas. Naming cities with finished jobs helps search.

Should we show prices publicly?

For construction jobs, usually no — scope is too individual. Better “quote after a site visit” or a rough “from” on a very standard line if you insist. A public price list rarely matches reality and invites bad comparisons. A strong form and portfolio matter more.

How long does it take and what photos / docs do you need?

A simple company site typically 7–14 days. From you: logo, short firm blurb, list of work types, regions, and project photos (phone is fine if sharp and honest). Ideally 10–30 photos sorted by category. Client references or consent to publish help — not required to start.
